Unlike most communities offering "semi-custom" homes, Woodmore's custom homes are specifically required to have unique designs acclimated to the surrounding wooded, golf-course, and lakeside environment. No two detached homes in Woodmore are alike. There are six Villages of Woodmore that offer attached or detached single-family homes. Each of the six Villages of Woodmore offers a uniform style having a distinct quality of refinement. For example: Courtside Village is built around the tennis courts of the Country Club at Woodmore and Lakeside Village is on the shore of Woodmore's 67 acre lake. Other Villages are: Club Cove, Hidden Pond, Meadow Walk, St. John's Wood.
The combined Woodmore presents a living community that is unique to the suburbs of Washington. Woodmore is a uniquely zoned (RA) community strictly limited to a maximum of 400 homes. This yields and overall density of more than 2 acres per home in Woodmore.
